Charnwood Student Safety Campaign

December 1-8 marks Student Safety Week in Loughborough.  The University and Loughborough College are supporting Charnwood Borough Council and the Police to spread important safety messages.

The campaign is designed to encourage students across the Borough to think about a variety of safety issues, including:

  • Cycle safety
  • Responsible drinking
  • Security
  • Food hygiene
  • Can the way you behave make other people feel unsafe?

As part of the campaign there will be safety tips and advice on offer every day next week via the noticeboard and social media.

Advice and enforcement activities will be taking place off campus at the end of the campaign period (for example drinking in the Alcohol Free Zone) so it is in the interests of students to follow guidance given.
