Loughborough Students in action at BUCS Big Wednesday
Good luck to the Loughborough Students’ teams who are competing today at the BUCS Big Wednesday event.
The event, being held at Surrey Sports Park, sees the culmination of the BUCS season for a number of sports. Loughborough will have teams competing for gold medals in basketball, badminton, football and rugby league.
The men’s basketball team will be looking to claim the BUCS title for the first time in 15 years when they take on Worcester. The badminton and football teams will be looking to retain their titles won last year.
It is the second time that the BUCS Big Wednesday event has been held, and in 2015 it will be at Loughborough University, with a proposed twelve finals taking place on campus.
