Design and Print ‘Highly Commended’ at national awards

Design and Print award

A set of postcards produced by Design and Print Services has been ‘Highly Commended’ at the Association of Print Managers in Education (APME) 2014 annual awards.

The postcards showcased the creative facilities available for students in the School of the Arts. Although the award recognised excellence in print, the project was a team effort, also involving design and photography within Design and Print Services.

Head of Design and Print Services Alison Freer said: “The competition standard this year was higher than ever and we are delighted to have been recognised for our expertise in printing. The production of the postcards on an uncoated stock was technically very challenging and the judges recognised that we had achieved good colour vibrancy, texture and visual impact.”
