Car parking: Changes to the application process for staff permits

In response to feedback and to make the application process easier, both the Annual and Occasional User parking permits will now be renewed automatically.

ANNUAL PARKING PERMITS

If you have an Annual parking permit, you will receive a new permit by 30 June. This can be placed in your windscreen with immediate effect. From now on permits will have no end date, meaning you will no longer receive annual replacements for your vehicle.

The cost of parking permits will increase for 2014-15 as part of the phased approach to charging that was agreed when the new scheme was introduced. The table below highlights the costs of annual permits, with effect from 1 August 2014.
