Staff – nominate students for University Prizes

Nominations are now open for three University Prizes that recognise students’ academic and non-academic achievements.

Students must be nominated by staff for the Prizes below, but there is also a series of University Prizes students can apply directly for (see the full list on the Academic Registry web pages)

The Sir Robert Martin Prizes are theUniversity’s premier awards and celebrate both academic and non-academic achievement. The top award of £1500 plus a commemorative medal is awarded annually.

Nominated students who are unsuccessful in achieving the top Prize will be considered for one of two Sir Robert Martin Achievement Prizes of £1000 each.

The Hannah Community Prize is awarded tostudent(s) who have carried out acts of kindness or good neighbourliness in the community.

The T S Shipman Prize of £800 is awarded to student(s) who have contributed the most towards the development of co-operation and aid between the University, Colleges and the local community.

Deadline for the Sir Robert Martin Prizes is Friday 28 March 2014 and both community nominations close on Friday 21 March 2014. Full criteria and nomination forms are available via the above links.
