Mental Health and Wellbeing Day

The University Mental Health and Wellbeing Day for staff and students takes place this Wednesday in the Students’ Union.

The event includes a series of practical and informative workshops from 12-4pm on topics including stress busting, meditation, motivation, confidence, and sleep management.

The University Mental Health and Wellbeing Day is designed to value and promote positive mental health, and to think about and challenge the stigma that surrounds mental health issues. 

The full workshop programme is below. Pre-register at the SU reception to guarantee your place. Spaces are also expected to be available on the day so feel free to just turn up.

At 1pm the Vice Chancellor will sign the Time to Change pledge on behalf of the University and the Students’ Union. 

Live music and other activities will be happening throughout the day.
