Suzy Shelly raised over £99,000 to launch the world’s first self-maintaining fish tank
Design School graduate and Studio member Suzy Shelley has smashed her crowdfunding goal on Kickstarter and raised £99,678 for Avo, the world’s first fish tank that never needs cleaning or filter changing.
Suzy set the target of £60,000 in order to launch Avo next September, but a global surge of extra pledges has enabled Suzy to offer fish-keeping enthusiasts a stylish cat proof lid, and she is already working on an automatic feeder in time for the product launch. Avo has caught the attention of national media and HRH The Duke of York, who named Suzy Enterpreneur of the Week on social media.
