Online store manager achieves industry award

IT Services’ online store manager Jo Brewin has won an award at the WPM Education Annual User Conference.

Jo was winner of the Most Valuable Extranet Contributor, beating nine other nominees to the gong.

WPM Education provides the University with its online payment solutions, and works with over 140 universities and colleges across the UK.

Its Extranet Forum allows users to ask questions and share their experiences, and Jo’s award was voted for by members of the extranet community. She was also announced as a member of a new User Group Board set up by WPM.

“It’s really nice to be recognised by both WPM and your peers and I’m happy to be able to share my experiences of WPM systems,” said Jo.

Loughborough currently holds a variety of e-commerce pathways through WPM including the Card Payment Gateway (CPG) where students can pay their fees and accommodation online; Campus Living; and the Online Store, which can be used for purchasing products and booking and paying for courses, events and short courses.

In March, Loughborough reached the top of the WPM CPG league table, netting 46,147 transactions through the CPG so far this year.
