About this event
Would you know what to do if a friend or teammate collapses and is unresponsive? If not, join Loughborough Sport for this SADS and Cardiac Arrest Awareness Day in partnership with the Jo Humphries Memorial Trust (JHMT) and the NHS University Hospitals of Leicester.
You will receive free practical hands-on training on the following:
- The red-flag symptoms that you should let your doctor or coach know
- Learn how to recognise a cardiac arrest
- How to deliver CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) compressions
- How to use an AED (Automated External Defibrillator)
- The emergency action plans and AED locations where you play sport on campus
- Plus lots more!
