Athena Swan groups

Our Athena SWAN Forum comprises all School Athena SWAN Leads or EDI Directors. The Forum is a group that meets every six weeks to discuss University Athena SWAN updates and updates within Schools regarding their gender equality work. Colleagues share good practice from their Schools with the rest of the group.

MAIA, the Loughborough University Women’s network, brings together women staff, Doctoral researchers, trans women and non-binary people comfortable in a female-centred community. The network is University-wide, uniting colleagues across Schools, Professional Services and Loughborough Students’ Union. MAIA hosts events, initiatives, and networking opportunities to encourage change.
