Terms and conditions
Undergraduate nominations will not be accepted after the deadline of 8 May 2019.
Postgraduate nominations will not be accepted after the deadline of 22 May 2019.
Placement employers will only be contacted if students are shortlisted.
A maximum of three nominations in total can be made per school, in the following categories:
- Undergraduate placement in a large organisation (Part I)
- Undergraduate placement in an SME (Part I)
- Postgraduate placement
Nominations should be submitted by the Associate Deans Enterprise and Associate Deans Teaching (or nominee), with input from students, placement co-ordinators, placement supervisors, heads of department, as needed.
Undergraduate nominations relate to students who have completed their Part I placement in 2017/18. Students currently on placement in 2018/19 are only eligible for the Postgraduate award.
For the undergraduate awards the nominee must have passed their DPS/DIS/DIntS.
For the Postgraduate award the student nominee must have completed at least six weeks of placement activity.
Joint/team nominations can be made, where more than one student has excelled in an identical project with the same outcome.
All nomination information provided is strictly confidential in the first instance, shortlisted nominees and their placement employers will be asked to agree to take part in publicity for the Awards.
Award winners will be determined by a judging panel.
