Launched in 2015, StudentCrowd provides students with a platform for sharing their opinions and rate their universities and courses, halls and rented accommodation, placements and part-time jobs – just about all things relating to student life.
It has racked up more than 50,000 reviews in just two years – and hosted over 500,000 users in the past 12 months.
As well as helping students make all-important decisions about where and what to study, company founder Paul Humphreys (BSc Management Science, 2010) is keen to offer practical learning opportunities.
To date, StudentCrowd has employed more than 20 Loughborough University interns, providing valuable experience and boosting employability.
Paul hopes to help over one million students in 2017, and would like to strengthen relationships with a range of organisations across the higher education sector – HEPI, HESA, Property Week, Higher Education Commission.
