WHARFEDALE TOO STRONG
FOR INJURY RIDDLED STUDENTS
A heavy injury count
made Saturday that every bit harder for the Students
as they continued in their quest for that first win of the season.
In what was I'm sure an enjoyable watch for spectators, turned
into a tough afternoon for the Students as key figures took knocks
which resulted in them departing the field. There were a number
of superb individual moments, most notably Craig Hollands try
late on, that seemed to slice open what had been a fairly solid
Wharfedale
defence through out the game. This Saturday sees the Students
travel south to Rosslyn
Park.

BUCS
CONTINUE WINNING WAYS
Wednesday
afternoon provided the 2s and 3s with some quality opposition
to test themselves further before heading into their BUCS campaign
due to kick start in two weeks time. With the 2s grabbing a strong
win on the 1st XV pitch against Bishop Burton, the 3s travelled
to Birmingham inspired by their team mates, and turned out a superb
performance to defeat a well drilled Birmingham side.
