School to unveil new laboratories in refurbished Clyde Williams building
Staff and students of the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences are invited to a special event on the afternoon of Monday 6th February to mark the official opening of the refurbished Clyde Williams building.
Work on the building represents a £750K investment in enhancing the laboratory facilities for students studying Sport Science and Human Biology with the formation of a large new Biomechanics lab and Anatomy labs on the ground floor, and a new Biochemistry lab on the first floor, as well as expanded student changing areas, a "break out" zone and a technicians' hub.
Between 1.00pm and 4.00pm on 6th February, staff and students will be able to take a tour of the new facilities that they will be using.
There is no need to register attendance as this is an informal event. However, free light refreshments (tea, coffee, cake and biscuits) will be offered, as well as information stalls about placement opportunities, careers and the National Student Survey.
We look forward to showing you the new labs and hope to welcome as many of you as possible.
