About this event
The NCSEM-EM is hosting a dementia awareness day with activities including exercise and cooking workshops, music and art based activities, design for dementia, and a Dementia Friends talk.
The event will take place on Saturday 21 May, 10am-2pm.
Programme of talks
10.00 – Alzheimer’s Research UK Welcome Talk
10.15 and 12.00 – Carer Perspective
10.30 and 12.15 – Design for Dementia
11.00 – Recognising some of the signs of Dementia
11.00 and 1.00 – Dementia Friends session
12.30 – Cooking for Cognition
Other activities will be taking place throughout the event on a drop in basis.
