For most of my career I have worked in partnership with working students undertaking university qualifications. During the last 10 years I have specialized in Work-based learning: supporting and enabling the transfer of academic knowledge & skills into the workplace to enhance performance and also the transfer of workplace learning into assessments for HE qualifications.
Before working in Higher Education I was a Learning & Development Manager in a range of public and private sector organisations. I have been an L&D Consultant and run my own successful business delivering leadership development programmes internationally.
I am a certified Executive Coach and licensed to use MBTI. I have a PG qualification in teaching in HE and am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I have a PG Certificate in facilitating work-based learning. I have trained as an Action Learning facilitator and am passionate about collaborative learning and establishing communities of practice to support learning and development.
