Doctoral Researcher in Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour
Giulia is a fully-funded PhD researcher at Lougborough University in the field of management and organisation studies applied to the construction industry.
Previously, she completed an MSc (with merit) in Marketing and Management at Loughborough University and a BSc in Political Science and Organisation Studies at the University of Trieste (Italy).
Construction management/sociology, strategy-as-practice, actor-network theory, innovation, collaborative strategizing
My PhD project started in April 2015. Between March 2016 and April 2017 I have been collecting data by conducting targeted ethnographies (observation of meetings and workshops involving a construction firm and its suppliers) and in-depth interviews, and by analysing documents. Coding is done by using Nvivo. I am planning to submit my final thesis in February 2018.
