Loughborough ranked in the top 15 for Business Graduate's Prospects

Loughborough ranked as one of the UK’s leading business schools for graduate employability in latest Times rankings
Loughborough University School of Business and Economics has maintained its place as one of the UK’s best business schools with an outstanding track record of graduate employability, according to The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2022.
Released in September 2021, the guide ranks universities on nine indicators – teaching quality, student satisfaction, research quality, graduate prospects, entrance qualifications held by new students, degree results achieved, student/staff ratios, service and facilities spend, and degree completion rates.
A leading UK business school
Overall, the School has been ranked in the UK top 10 for Business, Management and Finance as well as in the top 15 for Economics.
Subject area rankings:
- 9th for Business, Management and Marketing
- 14th for Economics
- 16th for Accounting and Finance
Loughborough University overall also features in the Guide’s top-10 again – out of 135 universities – and is the highest ranked university in the region.
Top-15 for ‘Graduate Prospects’
The School of Business and Economics at Loughborough has been ranked as one of the top 10 universities in the UK for ‘Graduate Prospects’ for Business, Management and Finance and among the top-15 UK universities for ‘Graduate Prospects’ in Accounting and Finance, and Economics.
‘Graduate Prospects’ by subject area:
- 14th in the UK for Accounting and Finance
- 10th in the UK for Business, Management and Finance
- 15th UK for Economics
The Graduate Prospect indicator is based on the most recent Higher Education Graduate Outcomes statistics (for UK domicile full-time first degree leavers, 15 months after graduating) for the academic year 2018/19, published by HESA July 2021.

University of the Year for Sport
Loughborough University has also been named the University of the Year for Sport, the third time it has won the prestigious title, this year it is in honour of its unparalleled role in the success of the British Olympic and Paralympic teams in Tokyo.
John Steele, Loughborough’s Executive Director of Sport, added: “For Loughborough University Sport the last year has been an unprecedented experience.
“We have had to be adaptable, innovative and resilient to achieve this; not only for student experience but also for preparing athletes, coaches and leaders to travel safely to, and perform in the Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games. And all this activity is backed up by expert research from our academic colleagues.”
