Academics recognised as PhD Supervisory Team of the Year by Loughborough Students’ Union

Dr Luke Garrod and Dr Christopher Wilson from the School of Business and Economics have been recognised by Loughborough Students’ Union’s PhD Social and Support Network as the Supervisory Team of the Year.

This award is given to the supervisory team that has worked collaboratively with students for positive research results and/or dissemination.

The award was given for being described as “elite level mentors” and “true teachers… [knowing] when to sit back versus when to take on a more hands on approach”.

They were credited for “encouraging and supporting conference, summer school and extracurricular activities. Particularly, those that aided personal growth and research understanding for a broader knowledge base.”
