SBE alumna to lead global netball charity campaign

Peace Proscovia

Creating Choices aims to be a social movement, raising important funds for grass roots netball to inspire the next generation through bringing together netballers from across the globe.

The INF Website states that it is their ambition for the future of netball to be a sustained commitment to empowerment through choices, opportunities, connections and community.

Peace Proscovia, a graduate of the SBE's MSc in Marketing, will lead efforts on inspiring others to take up the sport.

Netballers will be encouraged to become members of an online interactive hub for a contribution fee, created to share information and opportunities. Member benefits for this include becoming part of the International Netball Team for life and being given the opportunity to win experiences such as attending the Netball World Cup in 2023.

Peace, who finished her MSc in Marketing in 2018, was scouted by the Loughborough Lightning netball team in the 2014 Botswana World Cup qualifiers. She played for the UK Super-league team from 2016 before moving to the Australian club Sunshine Lightning in 2018. Peace is also currently the Uganda netball captain.
