Mark Hepworth awarded Honourary Fellowship by CILIP
Mark Hepworth has received an honorary fellowship by the Chartered Institute of Library and Information Professionals.
Recently retired from the SBE due to illness, Mark was a Professor in People's Information Behaviour researching and teaching in the Information Sciences area and a member of the Centre for Information Management. He was nominated for his outstanding contribution to the profession as an inspirational teacher and researcher in the field of information literacy for over 25 years.
Mark was also the driving force behind AURA, a multi-million research project that aims to develop effective strategies to help foster research capabilities that can be applied in academia, the world of work, the community or for personal advancement.
