Leadership and Management
With over 50 years’ experience in designing and delivering Leadership and Management programmes, the School strives to develop effective leaders and entrepreneurs, enhance organisational performance and promote sustainable growth.
Our mission is to equip today’s leaders and those of tomorrow with the skills needed to meet the strategic and management challenges faced in business. Programme content draws on the extensive expertise at the School, in addition to the external academic and practitioner talent brought in from industry.
Our experience-based programmes are structured to allow maximum flexibility in both content and delivery. In this way, training objectives are developed to reflect the needs of today’s automotive retail environment.
The programmes can be tailored to meet the needs of individual organisations or a consortium. The flexible structure of the programmes also allows for the development of new option modules. Participating organisations are encouraged to suggest areas of specific interest and these will be designed and developed in partnership.
Our research is comprehensive in scope and very highly regarded by academics and practitioners alike, with 75% of our output considered ‘world-leading’ or 'internationally relevant' (and 100% of our Information Management research rated 'world leading' or 'internationally excellent'), according to the most recent Research Excellence Framework (REF 2014). The research we do underpins all of our teaching, giving shape and substance to our courses and contributing to the outstanding and exceedingly relevant experience our students receive at Loughborough.
