MSc Strategic Leadership
To perform well, all organisations rely on talented, well informed leaders and managers making good decisions.
Developed in conjunction with the BSA and a representative group of members, this programme is designed specifically for the mutual sector to impart critical management and leadership skills and an awareness of some key issues and challenges that the sector faces, including managing risk, leading change and governance and transparency.

The programme is suitable for students who are highly motivated individuals keen on challenging and developing themselves and the businesses they work for. This creates an exciting learning environment where academic thinking, up to date industry research, cross industry applications and good practice are shared, discussed evaluated and implemented.

Please be aware that all intakes for the postgraduate/post-experience programmes are recruitment driven requiring a minimum number of students to make a viable study group. You will be advised 6 weeks before the advertised start date whether the programme will run.
Chartered Management Institute (CMI) Accreditation
The Building Societies Association programme now has dual accreditation with the Chartered Management Institute. On successful completion of the MSc students with not only receive their Master’s Degree, but also a Diploma in Strategic Management from the CMI. This aims to recognise the work-based nature of the programme and the professional skills gained during the course.
