The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) connects educators, students, and business to achieve a common goal: to create the next generation of great leaders. Synonymous with the highest standards of excellence since 1916, AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and professional development. AACSB’s mission is to foster engagement, accelerate innovation, and amplify impact in business education.

AACSB notified the School’s Senior Management Team earlier this week that we had been awarded the full five years accreditation. AACSB accreditation puts the School of Business and Economics amongst the top business schools in the world with triple accreditation (EQUISAACSB  and AMBA), further confirming the School’s commitment to the highest level of management research and education across all degrees from BSc to PhD.

Professor Stewart Robinson, Dean of Business and Economics at Loughborough University, said:

“I am delighted that we have received another five years of accreditation from the AACSB.  The peer review team, consisting of experienced Deans from leading international business schools, were highly complimentary of the School and the way in which we have developed over the last five years.  This accolade confirms our position as a leading UK and international School.”

In addition to AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA accreditations, the School is a proud signatory of the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) and also holds a Small Business Charter award for our activities in entrepreneurship and SME engagement.
