About this event

Building on last years’ success, the International Business, Strategy and Innovation (IBSI) group, are delighted to host the 2nd Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SIE) Workshop. Our aim is to bring together practitioners and academics interested in advancing impactful collaboration. The workshop will facilitate an open discussion on improving scholarship-practice alignment and highlight exciting new opportunities for conducting impactful SIE research.
The workshop will feature presentations from social entrepreneurs, investors, and international researchers working on a range of complex ‘grand challenges’, including access to finance, education, migration, and employment. Attendees will also participate in a focused track discussing best practice and opportunities for collaboration in one of the following areas:
- Refugee Entrepreneurship
- Scaling Social Innovation for Impact
- FinTech and Inclusion
