Andrew joined the School of Business and Economics in September 2012 as a Research Associate for the Centre for Global Sourcing and Services, before moving into his current role as Programme Director for the MSc in Human Resource Management. Andrew gained his PhD: ‘Professionals, CPD and Employability’ from Loughborough University in 2004.

Andrew has over 20 years’ experience of academic leadership, teaching and programme leadership at University level.

Prior to joining the School, Andrew was Programme Leader for part-time MA Human Resource Management programmes at De Montfort University Business School. Andrew has also been involved in the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as a regional committee member and was Chair of the Employability Special Interest Group (SIG) for the Society for Research in Higher Education. Andrew is the University’s liaison for the global Principles of Responsible Management (PRME), reflecting a personal commitment to ethical practice and sustainability in management and professional life.
