Higor Leite

CSM's PhD representative, Higor Leite, has been awarded a Santander Mobility Award for the second time during his PhD programme. Differently from the first award, where the funding supported the data collection in Brazil, the funding now has a focus on developing the early career researcher. Higor will attend the well-known Production and Operations Management Society Conference in Seattle, USA in May 2017.

Higor had this to say of the award:

Moving towards the conclusion of my PhD and starting as an early career researcher, one of the most important things is to build up solid networks and collaborations with other academics. Thus I believe that the opportunity to attend this conference is invaluable to my career development and I'm elated to receive the Santander funding one more time.
