Dr. Debbie Isobel Keeling, core member in the Centre for Service Management, is a track chair for the next AMS World Marketing Congress to be held in Bari, Italy from 14th-18th July 2015. The theme for the conference is “Rediscovering the Essentiality of Marketing”.

Through her expertise in complex professional services, Debbie will be overseeing the Health and Social Marketing track with her colleague Dr. Ting Yu (University of New South Wales, Sydney) – making this a truly international track!

The World Marketing Congress brings together Marketing academics from all over the world to discuss both peer-reviewed papers and take part in special sessions. As this is a global conference, cross-cultural studies are particularly welcome. This year the theme will focus on how the current worldwide business environment is leading marketing scholars and practitioners to reconsider a number of historical and current views of the marketplace and how it functions. In such a period in marketing history, achieving and managing efficient and effective marketing actions is a necessity.

The conference will be based in the beautiful and historic city of Bari, Italy. Look forward to seeing you there!
