PhD Thesis Title: Fully connected car using 5G cellular infrastructure.

Vehicular networking is being used for safety, traffic efficiency, and infotainment. It is also apparent that densely populated areas with high levels of penetration of cellular radio infrastructure for 3G,4G and 5G, the connected car where all cars have access to the internet and thereby to each other, may soon be realised.

Combined with this, the increasing popularity of smart phones have made the analysis of networks a subject of great interest for the research community. This research will look at maximising user experience in vehicles on roads and highways as well as developing new road safety technique with augmented reality, virtual reality and possibly holograms.
