PhD research student
William Mitchell joined Loughborough University in 2010 and obtained an Undergraduate Master’s Degree in Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering in 2015. He has since embarked upon a multidisciplinary PhD as part of the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Regenerative Medicine, where he is researching manufacturing development of human pluripotent stem cells for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. William is a member of the Healthcare Engineering Research Group in the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering and is supervised by Dr Mark McCall and Dr Robert Thomas.
