PhD Research Student

Katrina Duncumb is a Postgraduate Research student within the Sports Technology Research Group. Her research topic is concerned with mechanical measurement and simulation of breast motion, and is funded by adidas AG. Katrina obtained her MEng in Design with Engineering Materials from Loughborough University in 2016. She graduated with First Class Honours.

During her time as an undergraduate she completed a Diploma in Industrial Studies (DIS) through a placement with Cost Engineering at Rolls Royce Plc.

PhD Thesis Title: Mechanical Measurement & Simulation of Breast Motion

Currently undertaking a PhD in “Mechanical Measurement & Simulation of Breast Motion” sponsored by the future team at Adidas.
