PhD Research Student

Mr. Sánchez obtained an Electrical Engineering Degree from Simón Bolívar University in Caracas (Venezuela) in 2011 before joining the Polytechnic University of Madrid where he obtained a Master’s Degree in Renewable Energies.

He then moved to the U.K to work as a Conformance Engineer at Nidec Control Techniques overseeing the approval process for new drives and the electrical testing required to conform to the different safety standards.

In 2017, Mr. Sánchez started his PhD studies at Loughborough University.

Coordination of Electric Vehicle Smart Charging stations to provide frequency services.

The main area of research in our study is the integration of electric vehicles into the power grid and their capability to provide primary frequency response.
