PhD Machine Control over 5G Networks
Next generation wide participation cellular radio systems may offer the ability to control machines in real time using a combination of virtual reality and holographic feedback. The study of the parameters that must be met by the network (radio and wired) is a new research topic that now needs to be addressed. This research will combine implementation of camera and sensor control using embedded electronics with current 4G modems and 5G simulations to predict the abilities of machines controlled by humans over a cellular network.
