Ann Lawrence is currently a PhD researcher at Loughborough University. After her undergraduate studies, Ann did her Masters degrees in both Biotechnology (from Bangalore University) and Zoology (University of Kerala). Ann’s prior research dealt with evaluating the anti-microbial potential of marine macroalgae against human pathogenic microbes. Prior to her returning to doctoral research, she was formerly an Assistant Professor in Zoology teaching undergraduate students in Kerala, India.
Ann's present research deals with the development of an anti-biofilm agent for the detection and management of pathogenic bacteria in wounds. This will make a positive impact in patient care and treatment outcomes.
