Ali Alarbi BSc, MSc
PhD Research Student
Ali received his first award in BSc Control System Engineering from Al-Merqheb University, Libya 2013. Later in the academic year 2016/2017, he moved to University of Northumbria at Newcastle to undertake an MSc degree in Power System Engineering. His thesis was about Improving the Voltage and Power Profile of a Grid Connected Wind Farm Based on DFIG Using STATCOM.
Currently, Ali is a PhD Student at the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST), Loughborough University. His research interest is to emphases the hybrid system and decentralized micro-grid for electricity generation from renewable energy systems under the supervision of Dr Richard Blanchard and Dr Dani Strickland.
Emphases the Hybrid System and Decentralized Micro-Grid for Electricity Generation. This aims to study DSR for decentralized operation.
