Innovative world-leading street trials bikes
- Inspired Bicycles
Dave Cleaver graduated in 2004 with a degree in Sports Technology, and within three years he had launched Inspired Bicycles – now a world leader in street trials bikes, parts and accessories.
The company’s flagship bicycle Fourplay – a unique 24" wheel street trials frame designed by Dave – is now the standard against which all other street frames are judged.
Dave’s prototype frame tested well in the workshop, but he wanted to put it through its paces in the wild.
A chance encounter with a then unknown Scottish rider Danny MacAskill gave Dave the perfect test pilot, and the frame was soon market ready.
Following the release, in April 2009, of Danny MacAskill’s five-minute envelope-pushing film that showcased Fourplay’s muscle, demand for Dave’s innovative design grew rapidly.
Building on this success, Inspired’s product range has expanded to include 26" wheel bikes, children’s bikes, parts and accessories.
Dave’s mission is “to give riders the best equipment available to help encourage the progression and growth of the sport.”
Inspired Bicycles is now the by-word for innovative and stylish street trials bikes. The company trades via its busy online store and has a comprehensive network of dealers worldwide.
