IET Scholarships and Bursaries Awards Ceremony

Congratulations go to the following six students from the Wolfson School of Mechanical, Electrical and Manufacturing Engineering, who have been awarded bursaries and scholarships from The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

  • Jack Keeley (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) – IET Engineering Horizons Bursary
  • Lulian Gherghel (Electronic and Computer Systems Engineering) – IET Engineering Horizons Bursary
  • Rhiannon Edmonds (Electronic and Electrical Engineering) - IET Engineering Horizons Bursary supported by Chemring Group
  • James Bancroft (Robotics, Mechatronics and Control Engineering) - IET Engineering Horizons Bursary supported by Costain
  • Esha Mistry (Mechanical Engineering) - IET Engineering Horizons Bursary supported by Costain  
  • Imogen Relf (Sports Technology) - IET Diamond Jubilee Scholarship supported by The Janet Firmin Memorial Fund (pictured above)

These sought-after bursaries and scholarships are awarded to students who have a passion for engineering and are enrolled on an engineering or technology course which has been accredited or approved by the IET. Students who are currently studying an IET accredited course at Loughborough University can apply online now for an Engineering Horizons Bursary.
