Harry Leck Memorial Medal
Professor Philip Eames is to be awarded the Harry Leck Memorial Medal at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. The presentation will take place during the Vacuum Symposium in October 2018. The medal is awarded for distinguished contributions to British scientific research and/or related scientific/technical communities, in the field of Vacuum Science and Technology.
Philip Eames is Professor of Renewable Energy and Director of the Centre for Renewable Energy Systems Technology (CREST). His research focuses on various aspects of renewable energy systems, energy in buildings and thermal energy storage.
