Dr Paola Iannone and Dr Lara Alcock

I graduated in Computer Science from Karachi University in 2000 and worked as a Software Engineer for a short time. When I came to the UK, I completed a MSc in Computing and Performance Engineering from the University of Bradford (2004), a MBA from the Blekinge Institute of Technology, Sweden (2007), and a PgCE from the University of Huddersfield (2009). After working in the Further Education sector in various roles over the years, I decided to pursue a PhD in Oct 2017. Under the supervision of Dr Paola Iannone and Dr Lara Alcock, I will be exploring epistemological beliefs of Higher Education learners and their impact on a learner's professional identity, within the context of Engineering.
