Date of start of studies: 1 October 2018
Supervisors: Dr Camilla Gilmore and Dr Matthew Inglis

I completed an integrated master’s degree (MPsych) in Psychology at the University of York in June 2018. In October 2018, I started my studies at Loughborough after receiving a 1+3 studentship from the ESRC Midlands Graduate School DTP.

I am currently studying for an MSc in Social Science Research (Education). I am interested in number transcoding (the ability to map between number words, quantities and digits) in young children. More specifically, I’m interested in the relationship between number transcoding and different aspects of numerical and general cognitive abilities.

  • Early numerical development
  • Number transcoding
  • Domain general and domain specific influences on children’s early numerical understanding
