My research lies at the intersection of classical differential geometry with the modern theory of integrable systems.
Particular topics of interest include:

  • Classical differential geometry:
    • Web geometry
    • Projective differential geometry
    • Lie sphere geometry
    • Theory of congruences
    • Geometric aspects of PDEs
  • Integrable systems:
    • Systems of hydrodynamic type
    • Hyperbolic systems of conservation laws and congruences of lines in projective space
    • Integrable Hamiltonians with magnetic terms: classical and quantum aspects
    • Hamiltonian formalism: Poisson brackets of differential-geometric type
    • Multi-dimensional dispersionless integrable systems
  • Current Research
    • Differential geometry and integrability of multi-dimensional quasilinear systems
