From 27^th July - 4^th August, there will be a virtual event organised by the Discover Materials Group, an inter-University working group of which our Department of Materials at Loughborough University is a member.

The week-long event is aimed at increasing awareness of Materials Science and Engineering as an academic discipline.

The week will be launched on 27^th July, by setting a challenge to make an infographic about which materials have helped you through the current pandemic. Further online events and videos will be released throughout the week, culminating in a live Materials Science show, launch of the Discover Materials new video and a live Q&A panel session, with representation from Loughborough on the panel, on the 4^th August.
