Graduation - class of 2019
Design School graduating students of 2019, celebrated their University acheivements in style.
The University is hosting graduation this week, and on Tuesday 16th July, the Design School graduating students celebrated in glorious sunshine.
The formal ceremony was held at the Sir David Wallace Building Sports Hall, where the event was opened by the Chancellor Lord Sebastian Coe, then Vice-Chancellor Professor Bob Allison adressed the audience, and Professor Cees de Bont Dean of the Design School called each graduating student to the stage to accept their award.
Design School students were graduating from PhD research degrees and undergraduate degrees in BA Industrial Design & Technology, BSc Product Design & Technology, Bsc Ergonomics (Human Factors Design) and BSc Design Ergonomics.
After the ceremony the students and their guests were welcomed to a drinks reception at the Design School, to celebrate with colleagues and staff.
