Winners of UX UK Awards 2018 Announced.

The student category of these national User Experience awards had 6 shortlisted students, 5 of which were from Loughborough Design School.

Juan Encalada won the Best Student Project award with his design Aer. Aer is an app designed to help inexperienced parents collect and understand data about their new baby, giving them peace of mind while their child is in infancy.

Juan studied for his MA User Experience Design at Loughborough Design School. He is passionate about purposeful design and believes that empathy and research are key in delivering meaningful and positive experiences. The judges (who are from various industries and experts in digital, research and UX) loved the goal of his app design but were also impressed with how well presented it was.

Juan is very honoured to be awarded with this prize and to represent the Design School.

Congratulations Juan!
