Visiting professor gives lecture on Human factors and Sociotechnical Systems

Visiting Professor Paul Salmon gave a lecture on Monday 16th January at the Design School. Professor Salmon is the director of the Centre for Human Factors and Sociotechnical Systems at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. He spoke about the centre’s latest developments and looked forward to the future of the field.

Professor Paul Salmon is a leading researcher in the area of Human Factors and Sociotechnical theory and has co-authored 10 books, over 120 peer reviewed journal articles, and numerous conference articles and book chapters. The Design School is delighted to invite a leading mind in this field and to have the opportunity to hear his thoughts on what we need to do moving forward with Human factors.
