Since completing his 1st Class Masters Chemistry (MChem) at Loughborough University, Ryan has joined the Design School to start his PhD research which has been funded through EPSRC Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and ERA Energy Research Accelerator.
Ryan is looking at how printable electronics can be improved in order to make them more viable for energy storage devices. He then aims to prove the proposed optimisations experimentally through ink formulation, device fabrication and device characterisation.
