Principal research activities and interests:
Examining how the current legal legislation accommodates stress or not
Studying current training techniques and doctrine to identify the gap analysis  
Developing a biomechanical system to mitigate the effects of stress

Thesis title: Mitigating the physiological stress created in traditional firearms techniques for armed Police Officers under current (2018) United Kingdom Home Office legislation.

Overview of the research:
 Current systems in the deployment of tactical firearms response in the UK are inadequate. This project explains the ergonomics application to optimise officer performance in a high stress environment
