Design Futures, Strategy, Scenario Planning

Duncan graduated from Derby University in 2002 with a First Class BA (hons) - Visual Communication for Information Design (First Class). Duncan has travelled around the world and has used his experiences to inspire his further studies. Duncan has previously worked in industry in investment banking and now leads the local chapter of ‘www.futures.design’. He has also worked in an early stage renewable energy startup as well as the rather enviable role as a Nestlé ice cream taster in Copenhagen. When he is not working or studying, Duncan has a variety of pastimes which include all things digital, fly fishing, horology and he longs to be an apiarist. His PhD is partly self-funded and partly funded by Vice Chancellors Research Scholarship.
