Bukky Mayomi MSc Ergonomics; BSc Physiotherapy
Bukky is a PhD student from Nigeria. She is currently exploring the relationship between national culture and safety culture in healthcare.
She began her higher education career at the University of Ibadan, Nigeria with a BSc Physiotherapy after which she worked for some years before proceeding to Loughborough University for her MSc Ergonomics (Human Factors) degree.
She started her PhD study at Loughborough Design School in October 2014 on sponsorship by the Petroleum Trust Development Fund, Nigeria. Her current research interests include healthcare improvement and quality of care in developing countries; patient safety culture, contextual safety implementation and impact assessment.
