PhD Research Student

Alex studied for his undergraduate degree at Loughborough University, graduating with First Class honours in Computer Science in 2016. He now works under Robert Mercas and Daniel Reidenbach as a PhD research student in Theoretical Computer Science, focusing in particular on areas of combinatorics on words including morphisms, avoidability, abelian properties and complexity. He also enjoys cycling and is a keen pianist
